Amargasaurus belongs to the family of dicraeosaurid sauropod dinosaur which had been found existed during the early Cretaceous Period, over 129 million years ago. The dinosaur measures about 10 meters long with a low, long skull and sported tall spines at its back. Amargasaurus is a type of herbivore dinosaur.
